FUTURE:

GOING TO + INFINITIVO   (ir a + infinitivo)

• Para expresar intenciones.
I’m going to call her.
(Voy a llamarla.)

• Para hablar de planes.
They are going to open a café there.
(Van a abrir una cafetería allí.)

3.  Para hacer predicciones de futuro a través de hechos evidentes en el presente.
Don't run. You’re going to fall down.
(No corras. Te vas a caer.)

4.  Para hablar de hechos que van a ocurrir con seguridad en el futuro.
I’m going to go to Dublin next month. 
(Voy a ir a Dublín el mes que viene.)

WILL + INFINTIVO SIN "TO" (futuro simple español)

• Para expresar certeza en el futuro.
James will be fifteen next week.
(Jim cumplirá quince años la semana que viene.)

• Para expresar predicción del futuro.
It’ll get colder tonight.
(Hará más frío esta noche.)

• Hacer promesas.        
I’ll send you a postcard from London.
(Te enviaré una postal desde Londres.)

• Hacer un ofrecimiento.

I’ll call you if you like.
(Te llamaré si quieres.)

PRESENT CONTINUOUS (Presente continuo)

• Planes futuros que han sido confirmados.

She’s meeting me this afternoon.
(Se reúne conmigo esta tarde.)

PRESENT SIMPLE (Presente simple)

• Para expresar acciones planificadas en el presente y que tendrán o tienen lugar en el futuro.
The meeting takes place in New York next June.
(La reunión tiene lugar en Nueva york el próximo mes de junio.)
